Student life at ANU Someone writing

ANU College students have varying accommodation options, including the choice to live with local families as part of the highly popular Homestay program.

World class facilities

The ANU campus has modern laboratories and lecture theatres, as well as five libraries. Within the sprawling landscaped grounds, life for students resembles living in a spacious yet compact small town, with all the modern conveniences that entails, like medical services, retail shops, cafes and restaurants, art galleries, bookshops, public transport, and all manner of sports facilities and playing fields.

Additionally, the modern, centralised ANU College offers well-equipped facilities including wireless internet network, library access and more.  Plus, an extensive array of student welfare services is on hand to provide students with academic, medical and personal support.

A wide range of events and social activities are also organised throughout the year by the ANU College student-led social club, giving students a valuable opportunity to see and experience much more of the country.

A ‘greener’ place to live and learn

ANU is justifiably proud of its ‘green’ credentials.  The university is a world leader in environmental and sustainability initiatives, delivered through the award-winning ANUgreen program.

ANUgreen works with staff, students, contractors and campus visitors to provide leadership, and develop innovative solutions in the pursuit of a sustainable campus, all while working to reduce the environmental impact of our operations.
