Maths Bridging Course - for domestic students only Someone writing

Maths Bridging is suitable for students needing to update or build upon their mathematics skills, be it for career development or preparation for tertiary studies in the fields of science, engineering or commerce.

A diagnostic test will be held prior to the commencement of the Maths Bridging course for applicants who have not completed Maths Basic. This test is designed to assist students to determine which of the two courses best fits their needs. The test features questions from all topics outlined for the Maths Basic course.

Mathematics Bridging provides students with a solid foundation in algebra as well as a substantial introduction to differential and integral calculus. Using applied examples from the physical and social sciences, finance and economics, students will gain the ability to analyse real-world problems by mathematical modelling and interpret the results confidently.

Successful completion of Maths Bridging will meet prerequisites for MATH1013 at ANU.
