My journey of learning English started from General English courses, then went to IELTS preparation classes, Access Preparation course, and finally Access course. For this time of studying here I feel a huge improvement from a basic level of English to an academic level. This achievement was thanks to professional staff of ANU-College. Choosing ANU College was a right decision for me.

Teachers are very friendly and have a desire to help any student if they have problems. During the classes they can make it interesting and easier to study. There are many social activities for students, such as horse riding, golf, and other kinds of leisure.

In General English we studied not only English, but also learnt from our classmates more about their cultures. In addition, we had subjects such as 'Australian culture', project group works, and presentations. In IELTS classes we mainly focussed on preparation for IELTS tasks. In Access preparation and Access English courses, we started to write and read at academic level, and also learnt how to avoid plagiarism, think critically, write essays and reports. After completing these courses, I feel more confident now to start my Masters degree of International and Development Economics at ANU.

Moreover, I have met many interesting people from other countries and made good friends from Saudi Arabia, Mongolia, Japan, Indonesia and China.

I wish all students of ANU College good luck on starting their studies at ANU, and wish the teachers fruitful and effective work.
