ANU College has been running impressive group Study Tours for many years with continuing success. The experience provides students with an enormously enriching cultural opportunity – learning English whilst enjoying the sights and sounds of the nation’s capital city.
Short-term or longer courses are available to students from universities, academies, institutes, companies and government departments in Australia, Asia, South America and the Middle East.
English-language tuition is melded with a cultural component of excursions to some of Canberra’s national institutions, a wealth of historical, artistic and political heritage. Excursions to these destinations are combined with further analysis and discussion back in the classroom.
Destinations may include:
Regional attractions take in Tidbinbilla Nature Park, winter sports in the Snowy Mountains, whale-watching on the NSW south coast, sheep-shearing, boomerang-throwing and the wine-growing areas.
Flexibility is available for timing, course content, activities/excursions and accommodation. Cost is dependent on the length of the course.
ENGLISH-ONLY POLICY
This policy is an important component of ANU College English-learning practice. It is a proven method for success and long recognised as a popular strategy among students.
The Group Study Tours are not available to holders of student visas as their principal course.
