Students under the age of 18 commencing study at ANU College must have a legal guardian living in Canberra. The guardian may be a relative over the age of 21. Where no family member resides in Canberra, ANU College, through AHN, will secure a guardian for the student.

To Apply for Guardianship

Students under 18 who do not have a relative who can act as guardian are first required to apply for Homestay through the Australian Homestay Network (AHN). AHN will guide and refer students under 18 accordingly upon receiving their application.
