The aim of this program is to help students improve their general proficiency in using English in academic settings and to develop the study skills needed for university studies. The 10-week program runs twice a year and is designed for students to complete their English program in time to begin their undergraduate or postgraduate studies.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Students must be at least 17 years old before they begin their studies at ANU College.

Students must have an IELTS Band Score of 6.0 (with minimum 5.5 in all Bands) or equivalent read more.

Students must also have a conditional Letter of Offer from The Australian National University (conditional only on achieving the necessary IELTS or TOEFL result) in order to enrol in this program.

ANU ACCESS ENGLISH ORIENTATION DAY

Registration at ANU College is between 9:30am – 9:45am on the Start Date outlined in the Offer of Admission letter. At 9.45am students will be escorted to a lecture theatre at the ANU. The Orientation session commences at 10:00am and is expected to last until 12:00pm.

Please be aware that some students will be required to commence their Access English class immediately after Orientation.
