This program will be made available to students studying in Foundation Studies in 2017.
How CareerAhead works:
Before you arrive
You will receive helpful information and advice from our admissions team about CareerAhead and what it can do for you..
When you arrive at ANU College
You will complete an online skills assessment in your own language. You will then receive a full report that highlights your existing skills and specific areas you need to focus on developing.
At ANU College
You will receive an introduction to career skills and opportunities in your English classes in the first semester of your Foundation program. You also will have the opportunity to participate in voluntary workshops that will allow you to practise CV writing and interview skills.
Once you commence your degree at ANU, you will be able to use the university’s career centre, ANU Careers. This centre runs events including Graduate Jobs Fairs and employer visits to campus. As a member of a university with a vibrant and diverse culture, you will also have the opportunity to develop your career skills by undertaking volunteer work and taking the leadership role in sports teams and societies.
